DUVAL CLOSES OUT LLOYD IN PLAYOFF TO
WIN THE TIDEWATER MASTERS
May 18, 2008

WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia (TAGT) – Paul Duval is a High School golf coach at Great Bridge
High School, and now has something none of the golfers have a "Navy Blue Masters Jacket".

First round leader Duval (90) was able to keep things together on Sunday and manage a
playoff victory against John Lloyd (Sleepy Hole Winner).  Even though Lloyd lost the playoff he
was all smiles collecting another Gift Card and now has a total of $500 won in his last two
tournaments.

Tour Director - Lyle Joyner said after the Tidewater Masters, "It's really neat to see players
winning Gift Cards, Trophies, Navy Blue Jackets with a 20+ Handicap".  On the Tidewater
Tour the purse is split between five flights so the winners get the same prize value.

This was Duval's first tour victory after coming close a few times already in 2008.

Duval now leads the D-Flight Points Standings by 152 points over Glen Sweitzer the Player's
Champion.

In 2008 the D-Flight has become one of the largest flights on the Tidewater Tour.  It's going
to be hard for players to qualify for the VA-LA Challenge Cup and Hilton Head.
